 Coming Events: February Program The Society’s February program will be on Wednesday, February 24th at 7:00 PM. Dale Woodland, of the Reading Company Technical & Historical Society will present a Power Point program about the RCT&HS and the history of the Reading Railroad. The program is free and the public is invited. Civil War Roundtable The Historical Society of Schuylkill County will host a reorganization meeting of the Civil War Roundtable meeting on Friday, Feb 5th. at 7:00 PM at the Historical Society of Schuylkill County. All those who have an interest in the Civil War are invited to attend. There is no membership fee. The Historical Society is located at 305 N Centre St. in Pottsville. Our purpose is to discover, procure, and preserve the records of the history of Schuylkill County and any materials which may illustrate that history.
