Join us for an evening with Deb Reed, historian and SCHS board member, as she recognizes the servicemen from Schuylkill County who were awarded the Medal of Honor. She will explore their lives and actions, as well as discuss their gravesites and  speak briefly about each cemetery. Perfect for those interested in local military and cemetery history!

BIO: Deborah Shuman Reed is a retired Pine Grove Area School District librarian/history teacher and a member of the Schuylkill County Historical Society Board of Directors. She earned a bachelor's degree in history from Penn State and a master's degree in library science from Kutztown University. She is especially interested in cemetery studies.
