Join us for an evening with Orwigsburg resident Robert McCloy as he discusses the experiences of his ancestors from Schuylkill County and Virginia during and after the Civil War and the collection of remarkable circumstances that brought them together.

BIO: Robert McCloy was born and raised in Folcroft, Delaware County, PA.  After graduating from Kutztown State College, he taught history and social studies at Blue Mountain Middle School from 1969 until retirement in 2004.  Robert currently lives in Orwigsburg with his wife, Jill, a former teacher at Mahanoy Area S.D.  His daughter Liz and her husband Ryan Lamm live in Hometown, Sch. Co. PA
