Join us this May as we read The River Between Us, the debut novel of local author Stephen Wasilewski.

The River Between Us is set in rural Vietnam from the 1930s to the post-war era and follows two childhood best friends whose unbreakable bond is slowly fractured by war, politics, and betrayal. Caught in forces far beyond their control, they must navigate love, loss, and loyalty in a world where survival demands impossible choices. What they become, and what they lose, will test whether their bond can survive.

Meet the Author

Stephen Wasilewski resides in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Kutztown University and Misericordia University he worked in higher education. He now owns and operates a small business, providing vocational support and career development services. The River Between Us is his debut novel.
